Celebrate 20 years of eperi®: a milestone of innovation and transformation

In 2024, eperi® marks a significant anniversary - 20 years since its registration and incorporation as a consulting company in 2004. These two decades have been characterized by innovation, transformation and a clear vision: to help companies worldwide to manage their data securely and safely.

The path to product innovation

Launched in 2004 as a consulting company, eperi® underwent a strategic transformation into a product company in 2013. This step laid the foundation for the development of innovative solutions that enable companies to securely manage their data in the cloud while retaining full control over their sensitive information. A year later, in 2014, eperi® reached another milestone with the introduction of the patented template and multi-cloud concept. This concept ensures that customers can optimally protect their data regardless of the cloud platform used and also across multiple platforms.

Innovation and expansion

The years that followed were characterized by further technological breakthroughs. In 2016, eperi® expanded its portfolio with solutions for Microsoft 365 and Salesforce, two of the world's most widely used cloud applications. With the introduction of the Software Development Kit (SDK) in 2019, eperi® enabled developers to seamlessly integrate the security features of eperi® technology into their own applications. Since 2021, eperi® has also been offering solutions for web apps to meet the increased security requirements in the digital world.

Strategic realignment and rebranding

In 2024, eperi® is taking another important step: the strategic alignment of the product as a universal data security solution. This change is accompanied by a rebranding and relaunch of the website in order to redesign the customer approach and focus more strongly on the benefits and simplicity of the solution. In this context, the product “eperi® Gateway” was also renamed “eperi® sEcure”. This renaming not only reflects the continuous development of the product, but also emphasizes the central role that eperi® plays in securing company data. The new name is intended to appear less technical and clearly emphasize the practical benefits for customers.

The rebranding is a natural step in the evolution of eperi®. After two decades of innovation and with a constantly growing customer base worldwide, it is crucial that the eperi® brand not only stands for technological progress, but also for comprehensibility and customer orientation. The rebranding positions eperi® as an even stronger partner for companies that want to manage their data securely and efficiently in the cloud.

With the new website and the renaming of the main product to eperi® sEcure, eperi® underlines its commitment not only to provide customers with technical solutions, but also to present them in a clear and user-friendly way. This strategic realignment is another step in eperi®'s ongoing mission to be a leader in data security and to help organizations worldwide protect their sensitive data.
