eperi Microsoft 365 encryption now also for Planner and To Do

Pfungstadt, November 30, 2023 - For companies that use Microsoft 365, eperi now also offers function-preserving encryption for Microsoft Planner and Microsoft To Do in the cloud. The new encryption options complement eperi's existing data protection-compliant encryption for Microsoft 365 core applications such as Exchange, SharePoint and OneDrive. With the new function, companies can protect plan names, tasks and files from unauthorized access, for example. This provides controlled protection for sensitive information that is subject to legal protection or is classified as particularly sensitive due to company rules.

The patented technology of the eperi Gateway makes it possible to process pseudonymized data outside the boundaries of the data residency without violating the laws of the data residency. By automatically encrypting data before it reaches the cloud, the eperi Gateway enables the legally compliant use of Microsoft 365 while maintaining the functions of applications.

For companies that already use the eperi encryption gateway, the additional encryption for Planner and To Do is very simple. The encryption of the other applications can be activated quickly and without further effort in the Microsoft 365 adapter of the existing gateway.
